Challenge
The #1 nonfiction media company in the world sought a partner to develop and implement cause-related marketing tactics to raise the image of its cable TV networks with key constituents, including local, state and federal government officials. Discovery’s suite of networks includes Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Science Channel, Military Channel, HD Theater, and more.

Tactics
Noral successfully established and cultivated strategic partnerships, conceived promotional concepts, supported promotional planning and execution, led post-promotion ROI analysis, developed community outreach and coalition building efforts, and led special projects, like the development of a high-profile Advisory Board for the Military Channel.

Results
All efforts ultimately supported distribution agreements, and across its long relationship, Discovery successfully negotiated all carriage contracts, and established Discovery Channel as the #1 most widely distributed cable channel in the U.S., while TLC and Animal Planet became two of the fastest growing cable networks in U.S. history.
