Challenge
DataCollege, Ltd. developed the UK’s #1 Web site for writing wedding speeches, TheBestManSpeech.com. They needed to successfully introduce its service to the U.S., being mindful of the behavioral and cultural differences between the two countries.

Tactics
Noral implemented a competitive analysis of the U.S. landscape, and from this research established unique U.S. brand positioning to ensure optimal messaging for U.S. target audiences. Next, Noral assembled a team of more than 33 professional writers to build out U.S. Web site content, which now represents the world’s largest database of wedding speech materials with more than 5,500 unique pieces of fresh, relevant content. Noral established a new interface for the site, creating a truly interactive online speech-building service that delivers high-quality speeches instantly for its users. Finally, Noral helped implement a keyword ad buying campaign and worked on search engine optimization to ensure optimal site traffic.

Results
Since its launch in August 2008, the U.S. version of TheBestManSpeech.com has enjoyed profitability with a nearly 20% search engine click-thru-rate, and an early 2% sales conversion rate. Additionally, the interactive speech-builder has been so well received, TheBestManSpeech.com plans to implement this interface with its UK site.
